Comedienne-singer Ethel Booba took to micro-blogging site Twitter on Monday to address “Wowowillie” host Willie Revillame’s dare last Thursday that she should resign as co-host of the show.
Eyhel said she has no more intentions to come back to the noontime show after what willie said.
“Hindi na talaga ako babalik. Sana maintindihan nyo rin ako, masyadong nayurakan ang pagkatao ko,” she said.
The actress-comedienne also told another follower that she doesn’t have a contract with Willie or with the show.
In subsequent tweets, Ethel Booba seemed to address Thursday’s incident as she posted cryptic quotes without actually tagging or naming anyone.
“Closing some doors today. not because of pride, incapacity or arrogance, but simply because they lead you nowhere. – Paulo Coelho,” she tweeted.
“Honesty, trust, respect and communication are the most important factors in any kind of relationship,” said the actress in another post.
Revillame, who produces the noontime show, went on an on-air tirade during the program’s episode on Thursday, addressing Booba and co-host Ate Gay.
He said he had scolded both comedians, after Booba allegedly raised her voice at him over a joke he made about her outfit. Revillame also expressed embarrasment in his two co-hosts after they allegedly protested the results of “Mini-Concierto,” a contest among the hosts of “Wowowillie.”
Revillame went on to direct his ire at Booba, reminding the comedienne that he is her employer. He then dared both Booba and Ate Gay to resign from the show.
